Today we headed over to our favorite park, Epcot. We got started to the park around 10ish, I woke up as usual around 6 and went for a run, used the great gym at SSR, then went and got two adult breakfast platters and brought them back to the room to eat. DW ate hes in bed as she slowly awoke, I chose the balcony overlooking DTD. I feel it is a great way to start the day, we do enjoy the occasional Morning EMH, but we have tended to be more Evening EMH people as we love the parks at night no matter what time of year. After exploring Innoventions for a while we headed to our favorite place in our favorite park, the world showcase. We can wander around for hours on end just enjoying the details and soaking in the atmosphere. Of course I felt the need for a snack around noon, and we took the scenic walk to the BW Bakery and I got yet another Cinnamon Yummy, this one was still warm and gooey. DW enjoyed a fountain soda and chocolate frosted donut. We then headed back into Epcot and bounced around to take in more of the Holiday skits around the showcase, including the Monkey King, his animation and energy in telling his tale will keep him in our smiling "remember when.." memories for years to come. As in this little tale as we gathered around when he first came out. My DW had just ordered a Billini and I ordered a Mich Ultra Draft as we walked through Norway at the "Holiday Cheer" Cart. The Monkey King told my DW he was parched and he would love to have a drink of her wine as he came over, the crowd laughed, he then looked at my large draft cup and said,"Now that is what I will have after the show in a grand celebration of my tale." Everyone got a chuckle out of that, we won't soon forget it. We then headed over to the Merry Member Mixer, which was set up just outside the international gateway. We were able to easily get a picture with Mickey and Minnie in their Holiday Attire, as the line inside was only about 5 minutes long. They continually rotated characters so there was never any down time, it switched between M & M and Chip and Dale. After the mixer it was 4:30ish and we decided we need more than the sugar cookies, so it seemed the perfect time to head to ESPN Club again. We ordered the Hot Wings and Nachos and relaxed for an hour or so before heading back to Epcot. We headed over to SE since it was 7ish and FW always seems to be less busy around this time as people begin to migrate to find their "spot" for Illuminations. To our delight this was again an EEMH at Epcot, we got our bands and then decided to try the view from Italy for Illuminations, it was good a new perspective that we hadn't tried before. After the fireworks we headed to try Nemo and Friends for a second time, the first time on Day 4, the ride had stopped and we had to walk out. This time we had success, it was a cute ride, but I would not have stood in line for an hour to go on it, and I'm glad being EMH that we walked on this time with no wait. We took another slow lap around the world and basked in the sights and sounds before heading back to our home (room) for the evening. Up next our last full day at WDW and a rare early park arrival for us as we head to AK, roar.

I like to get a cold beer too when we are walking around Epcot ......we did that a few months ago and enjoyed it.
