I'm in a group of 3 travelling to WDW over the holidays..

We're flying in early Christmas morning, and leaving the evening of the 29th, staying at the Pop Century..

I'm fully expecting the place to be so packed its ridiculous, but does anybody out there have any holiday travel advice on how to manage to survive there and still see everything we'd like to get to?

Also, I know what days are best for what parks during the off season, but does anyone have any recommendations on what parks would be best on what days during those few days (in particular, on Christmas day since we're going to be arriving at around Noonish)?

This would be my plan of attack!

--Only utilize Fast Passes for attractions that have lines 30 minutes or longer. If the wait is 20-25 minutes then stand in line and use Fast Pass for a different attraction.

--Make a list of your "Must Dos." Realize that week in December, 25th-29th, is going to be PACKED, and it's unrealistic to believe everything can be done. If you see everything on your list before the 29th, then great. You can do extra stuff.

--Epcot is most busy Christmas Eve, while Magic Kingdom is most busiest Christmas day. (According to guide books I've read.) Your best park for Christmas day will probably be Epcot.

--Best park on Dec. 26th will be Magic Kingdom! (That's obvious since everyone will be there Christmas day. :))

Hope this helps,

That does indeed help!

Does anyone think it is still possible to grab a PS for any given restaurant during that week, or is it a lost cause at this point? I read in a different thread that one has no hope of eating at a restaurant without a PS during the week I'm going.

I'm sure the airports will be crowded too. I'd watch your stuff when you are at the airport. Someone could be looking to make their Christmas a better one with your belongings. That might end up ruining some of the trip. Have a fun holiday at WDW!

It doens't hurt to try! You've got nothing to lose at this point.

If you don't have any luck with snatching PS's, then my next suggestion would be to look at the menus at all the counter service places. That way you have varity, and aren't eating hamburgers and fries all week!

Have a great trip!

I 'll share a tip I got off this board last year:
put name/address labels on anything of value:
ie cameras, backpacks, etc. (In case you put something
down & later realize you left it somewhere, chances
are a better it will find it's way back to you..)

Have FUN!
