Do they generally start the holiday tour as soon as the holiday season starts(November 13)?

I can now see the schedule for the Holiday Time at Disneyland Tour out through December 1. If I am wanting to book a tour for December 6, does this mean I should be able to call in 5 days (Sunday 10/25) to get that set up? I've been checking daily and they seem to be going one day out further each day. Thanks, I don't want to miss my window of opportunity to get this scheduled!

The schedule shows up 6 weeks in advance, but I believe all tours can be booked at the 30-day window, usually. I would try calling to see when they'll allow you to book for December 6.

Oh, that's right. I forgot the tours are typically a 30 day window to book. I got excited because the date was getting closer on the schedule and convinced myself if you can see it you should be able to book it! :)

I noticed the schedule is showing out to 12/6 now, however when I go to the events and tours page and look at the Holiday Time Tour, it shows no times available for both 12/5 and 12/6. Leading up to those dates though it shows one or two times each day.

Do you think they won't be offering the Holiday Time Tour over that weekend? That's when I was hoping to do it since I thought that would probably be the most crowded day of our trip.

We will be in the parks Sun - Wed of that week. If the tour is unavailable on Sunday, which other day would you pick? Thanks!

I think it's likely that there will not be a Holiday Time Tour on Saturday 12/5 or Sunday 12/6 due to the Candlelight Professional. It was not offered in 2014 on that weekend.

We went on the last tour of the day on that Friday and it was very crowded in the parks. This may not be as big an issue this year because the tour (and Holiday parade) will be earlier in the day. -- Suzanne

I just checked the calendar and they have just added the Holiday Tour to the Saturday and Sunday schedule. It will be offered at 10:30 am both days.

I hope this is true! For some reason I still can't see it. It still says "no times available" for both the 5th and 6th even after refreshing.

What does the tour get you? I've been really impressed with the tours and would like to see if I could manage a quick trip for this one.

You get priority boarding on IASW and HMH, a pin, priority seating for a parade (usually the Holiday one), and gingerbread and hot cocoa...plus the tour part that talks about DLR and the holiday season.

I've heard it lasts about 3 hours. I'm not sure if that includes the time for the parade or not. I'll be taking it for the first time this December. Here's another recent thread that talks about it. http://disboards.com/threads/what-exactly-does-the-holiday-tour-include.3444475/, you can also check the Christmas superthread which has reviews from past years in it. http://www.disboards.com/threads/di...egin-fri-november-13th.3358217/#post-52730327

ETA: I believe it also includes the Jingle Cruise

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it included the parade in that time or not either. I am trying to decide if it is a guide use of our 4 & 1/2 days there with a 5 year old....

I just signed up for the Holiday tour today. The times offered for the day I booked were 10:00, 10:05, 12:45, and 12:50. It sounded like everything is pretty wide open right now as far as availability. I was told it was about 2.5 hours plus the Holiday parade (reserved seating) and that it would include at least two of the holiday themed attractions. Other than that, the cast member couldn't give much info so I guess we will see. Our two daughters ages 12 and 9 are going so hopefully everyone likes it!

Great! What date did you sign up for? It's available to book at 30 days out, right? I'm hoping to get one on 12/7.

I signed up for Nov 27 which is technically 31 days out, but was available today. Seems like maybe they go with the calendar date (today being Oct 27 for a Nov 27 tour) instead of counting the days. I didn't inquire if anything was available to book past that since that was the date I wanted.

Oh oh! I just checked for December 5 and 6 and it looks like the tour is NOT offered those days after all. It is available Dec. 4 and 7.
