I love this thread, I went to tkmax this am cause I had to kill an hour befre work, I bought a lovely long dress for formal night on my cruise, black with lime green, Its real gowwwwwwwwwgous.
just wanted to share!

ps, tk max is totaly fatal for me!!
I bought a new ruck sag with wheels for my trip next week, it is pretty smart.
I had to force myself OUT the darn shop.

pps, I love reading what you guys are all buying.

Me too, i wanted it in white as well but they don't have the white one in plus size but £20 each bargain!

I got all excited when you said plus size. Their sizes are a bit funny though. The regular sizes are going up to 20 and the plus sizes start at 24. It is just a shame that I have come down from a 26 in tops and dresses to a 22. I think I have to check if our local Next shop stocks them and try them on.

Yea i would normally buy a 22 so i have ordered a 24 and praying its going to fit ok if it is way to big i might get away with a 20 Fancy not having it in size 22!!

I am hoping that I will get away with a size 20. It looks quite wide and with the elastic up top, it might just work.

I love TK MAXX too ...... I bought my formal dress from there for my last cruise and I still love it ( when it fits ). Do you have a photo of your new dress?

I've seen a lovely long purple dress in TKMaxx which would be perfect for the Panama Canal cruise, but it was in every size but a 12 or 14, I keep popping in to see if they've had anymore in. For £50, it was perfect (and not too fussy too)

I have just reserved the Minnie Mouse one to be collected tomorrow £5.99 will be handy for hand luggage.

No luck unfortunately. They did not have any sun dresses in store. I was told that usually stuff turns up online first before it comes to the shops so I will keep on trying.

I was going to buy those for our Med cruise so I doubt that my size will change that much between now and then.

I did some different kind of holiday shopping today. I got loads of Ebooks for my reader. I got the first 5 Patricia Cornwell books, World Without End by Ken Follett and Teatime for the Traditionally Built by Alexander McCall Smith. That should hopefully be enough to see me through the cruise.
