They are lovely, really delicate looking without being naff (if you know what I mean) :thumbsup2

Yeah I know what you mean :thumbsup2 They are really nice - they look really classy on and supposedly they're sand and surf proof (so I was told by a store assistant) :lmao:

Some lovely things have been bought.

I'm going shopping today, so hopefully will pick up some fabby things.

My online Wallis order arrived yesterday and whilst I loved the top and shorter dress, this one was overly long and very, very wrong! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: So I'll be taking it back tomorrow...

My New Look clothes also arrived and I really like most of it. A few cheap and cheerful tops plus several cardigans... :thumbsup2

ooohh CUstart Tart

That Joe Browns top looks FABULOUS.

I've never heard of them - are they any good - who would you compare them to?

I've only ever ordered clothes for my DS from there so I'm not sure about the ladies things - the mens stuff has always been excellent quality tho'... This is a test case for me as I like a lot of their clothes so I'll keep you posted! Have you checked out their website? Here's a link...

LOL, I was only thinking this morning if your Wallis order had arrived Karen (how sad is that :lmao: )

I love that Joe Brown's top, I'll have to check out their website, do they have stores too ?

Thanks for the link.. already had a sneaky look..
Some of their clothing looks fantastic... and lots of choice.
its just so difficult to get the "feel" of the clothes without being able to go the shop

I think it might be worth paying a small postage fee for an order just to see what the clothes are like.

Keep us updated on your order - i'd be very interested in what you think.

Awww!!! That's not sad but really sweet, Mandy - thank you for thinking of me... I don't think Joe Browns have stores - I only know about them from receiving catalogues... :goodvibes

Hold off until I receive my top and I'll let you know what I think. :thumbsup2 As it's my first order I'm unsure about the sizing so I'm now very nervous I may have ordered too small... :scared1: If I like what I see, I can tell I'll end up ordering loads as I have loved their style for such a long time!!! :goodvibes

Love those tops! Thanks for the link - I'd never heard of these (unbelievable I know :rotfl: )

Don't think my budget will sretch to all 3, so will have to have a think what I *need* :lmao:

I bought a cute 50's style swimming costume today to wear to the water parks - bikinis are not a good idea for flume rides :lmao:

No pics I'm afraid - but it was primarni!:rotfl:

I love primarni!! I'm going next week into the Manchester store to pick up some bits. Only problem I have with them sometimes is sizing - sometimes things bury me and others I can't even fit an arm in :confused3 AND the wait for the fitting rooms could rival Soarin!! :rotfl:

Got a lovely cotten dress to wear in Spain. In fact hopefully can wear it here as soon as the sun comes out.

Susan

Lovely dress Susan, I love that colour :thumbsup2

Well, I succumbed and bought a couple of things this afternoon (from Sainsbury's of all places). Will post pictures later but I got a lovely pink strappy top and a pair of 3/4 lengths.

Not the cheapest things I've ever bought but I really like them both so it was worth it :)

I also bought some stuff for the DDs on Saturday so will post pics of those too.

Nice dress Susan, that will keep you cool in Spain :thumbsup2

I look forward to seeing your pics Joh. I saw some nice strappy tops in Sainsbury's today too.

Well, pics are duly uploaded - I didn't bother with a pic of the trousers. Just picture in your head a pair of 3/4 length black trousers ;)

I have to say the pictures didn't come out great so the colours don't look quite right (everything has a slightly yellowish tinge - might be down to the 100 watt bulb in my bedroom  )

This is my top - it is a really gorgeous colour

And eldest DD's bikini (same as your DD Mandy - I didn't have a say in the choosing of it, I promise) and shirt - the shirt is actually black/grey/white not yellow lol

And youngest DD's bargain finds - pink top was £2, shorts were £5 and multi top was £3
