Holiday Shopping 2011

I had a little mini shop today, and I treated myself to these sandals from M&S, this is my first flip flop type as I have never been able to get used to having that bit between my toes, but I thought I would give these a go as they are so nice

I love those sandals but I also have issues wearing toe posts ... I would love to find something similar though without a toe post.

I am also another who can't get on with toe posts, although I have got a pair of Birkenstocks that have toe posts and they are ok in small doses, I would never attempt a park or anything in them!

I love wearing toe post sandals but I do find that I need to build up to wearing them. I'm starting to wear mine around the house already and when it gets warmer I'll build up to walking longer distances.

I hope you manage to persevere as there are some lovely styles available with a toe post.

I also bought this little nautical purse from Debenhams

I also got some nautical pants, but I thought I'd save you from that pic :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I love the sandals :thumbsup2

Very nice purchases ladies! I especially love the nautical purse, Mandy!

Not really a holiday purchase but I may take it on our cruise with us. I ordered this earlier after deciding I wasn't buying it, well then I got an email from ASOS offering free next day delivery if ordered before 5pm so I couldn't resist...

Been looking for a similar dress for a while but I'm extremely pale (think Casper the friendly ghost ;)) that I'm not sure it'll work for me. I'm now on the hunt for "nude" tights, but nude enough they'll match my white skin, as I'm planning to possibly wear it to a 21st at the end of the month.

I've been a bit of a returner lately :flower3: Ended up returning both the jacket and the green dress I posted in my last few posts.

That dress is gorgeous :thumbsup2

Beautiful dress Corinna, and I LOVE those hair vines they are fabulous! My DD would be having a fit to wear those!

The two young ladies that are going to wear this are going be thrilled to bits. The older one of the two, who will be 11 by the time we cruise, is kind of used to this as she is a dancer, but both of them will be excited. Their mum does not know anything about this either yet. So I can't post anything about this on my planning journal. I had a pencil case and a shoe bag made for each of them with a license plate graphic with their name that Jordak on the cruise magnet thread made for me. One of them has nautical Minnie and the other has Captain Mickey. I will send those together with the hair vines and a zip pull that I am going to make for each of them. I can't wait to see them again (and their mum, too)

well it would appear that sweet feet shoes and my crazy shoes are no longer trading, hmm I wanted to get the kids crocs without having to pay the Earth, Crocs own website is soooo expensive though

Just received my dress from ASOS and it's too big :sad2: Massively too big. They've got free next day delivery again (until 5pm if anyone's interested) so I think I'm gonna order the smaller size and just return this one fully. It says it can take up to 10 days for the return to be delivered to them so I think this will be alot quicker than exchanging it. Not that I need it until the 26th but I think this just seems a better way.

Bit worried the smaller size will also be too big as this one is 2-4 inches too big round the waist!

EDIT: Booo can't do above :( I get the ASOS magazine delivered as I've been a customer from the very beginning and I used the latest discount code from it which I've just realised was a one time use and linked to each magazine account. Looks like I'll have to wait for the exchange :(

Oh Gem they were the same company and sadly stopped trading at the end of the summer last year. They had a closing down sale which I think was mentioned on the old bargains thread.
Sports Direct had a Crocs sale last week, not sure if its still on :confused3

I popped into the Bull Ring this morning, and treated myself to this little dress from Accessorize, which I'm going to wear on my next visit to Castaway Cay

LOL, I like your style Jo ::yes:: It sounds like you're ready for Castaway Cay ... but is Castaway Cay ready for you ? :rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

I've been a little bit naughty-cal recently ;) I've been after a blue jacket for the spring, and I found this bargain that had been reduced to £10.50 in the Debenhams sale, not only was it reduced, but I got another 20% off with the Daily Mail promotion, so I got it for the pricely sum of £8.40. I also bought these sandals from New Look (also with 20% off with my DD's student discount) and this bargain little bag from Primark (yes you did see right :rotfl2::rotfl2:) for only £4

Now the jacket comes with blue buttons (which I'm not over keen on), so I've bought some white and brass looking buttons for it, which do you prefer ? I think I like the brass looking ones the best, but I'd love your opinion ::yes::

Great finds and real bargains. I prefer the brass buttons.
