'K y'all! Everything is updated in the second post on the thread. This will be the progress thread but I will post another for the prototypes so everyone can be surprised if they would like.

Now I just have a few things before being done with this update:

1) I know this goes without saying but please, please, please pay attention to the guidelines for this swap. We all put a lot of time, money, materials and effort into these pages and it is supremely disappointing to get back less than equal work. I'm not talking about things being cookie cutter because none of us want that. I'm just talking about putting in the same effort you are receiving. Almost all of us were in the Disney CP Swap that is just finishing up and it wasn't an issue in that one and I don't think it will be here either. I just wanted to make sure it is said somewhere.

2) I'm not asking y'all to post a prototype of your work so that I or anyone else can critique it. Rather, it is to show good faith to everyone involved that progress has been made on your items. You are more than welcome to post and ask for feedback but NONE will be given unless you solicit it (other than remarks on cuteness, that is .) I just don't want anyone to think that this is a forum for us to remark or critique one another's work because it's not. 'Nuff said.

3) The due date is firm. I need to swap these pages out and get this stuff clear since I will be swapping the WDW Event Swap two weeks later. I don't want these swaps dragging on into my preparations for my December WDW trip. That being said, if at any point you don't think you'll be able to finish your stuff, please let me know ASAP. We WILL pick up the slack if need be.

Now that I've typed a book, I would like to remind everyone that yesterday was our first check-in. I know I missed it and the groups weren't finalized so it's not a hard one. Just please post to let me know that you have read this message and let me know if you have questions. I'm looking forward to seeing the work from this group. I think it is going to be amazing!

Checking in. Sounds great! Hope your knee stops hurting and I'd love to see new puppy pictures. I'm off to play Keeno, filling in for a friend and now I wish I hadn't said yes, because I was on a roll with my Epcot pages. I have decided I like making 4 sets of a layout, maybe 5 or 6, but more than that and I am a little bit over it. lol

Yikes! I missed check in. So sorry. I have bought all of my supplies -- waiting on an order which should get here this week. I have the prototype for the right hand side of my Christmas layout done and sketches for the rest. I am finishing up ABC the week (I hope!) and then my plan is to do these pages and baby pages and mail them together.

Checking in- I have my embellishments and ideas for winter but I need to find the paper I want for the background.

Spring- I have some ideas and my paper- I want to do something similar to one of my CKC classes.

Christmas- I have lots of embellishments and paper I just need to decide what I am doing.

pretty in tink and I have gone shopping. We both picked the same paper for our Christmas group. She already had some in the shopping cart, so I had to choose something else. I like it, just not as much as the other. Neither will work with the vision I had though, so coming up with another idea instead.

I think we both have our winter ideas pretty set-now to get it to all work out right.

Speaking of updates . . . I never posted mine! I'm sketching. I have tons of Spring/Halloween/Christmas paper in my stash already so I don't plan to have to buy any PP for this swap. I might need to buy CS but I won't know until I get my sketches done and start choosing PP.

Also, as an FYI - I'm planning to shop my stash on this one so all of my layouts won't match in terms of paper but will match the overall design I post as my prototype. Everyone is welcome to do this. It worked well for many in the Disney CP swap and I think it is a great idea.

Ok, like vickiv said, we've got paper and ideas. I have started one half of my winter layout, have the basic idea done, just needs a little tweaking, finalising. And I think I have an idea about the other half of winter and for the entire Christmas one. Just have to decide exactly how i want it done, etc. So looking ok so far for checking in (doing it early bc I dont always remember to sign on...yikes!)
