ANy advice on park plans for US on the 22nd and IA on the 28th December. Can't wait pretty sure it's gonna be a great Christmas vacation just wondering what's best to do ie arrival times, pre book dining reservations etc

Thanks

Since before Christmas will probably be less crowded than the 28, I would recommend switching your US and IOA days around. First thing in the morning at US: go to Transformers and then the Mummy. IOA: do not fall into the trap of going to Harry Potter first thing in the morning. I would do Hulk Spiderman and Dr Doom first, and the water rides if you like those. Then do Harry Potter later in the PM. Have a great time! Will be in Orlando area between Dec 30 and January 5

One more tip: Citywalk has great restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe. It is easy to leave the park to go eat and then come back, as everything is within walking distance of each other. Don't know much about sit down food inside US, but in IOA mythos is phenomenal.

Don't switch your dates as suggested above. The 22nd is the last day that Mannheim Steamroller is playing at USF, at 6pm. The Macy's parade is at 5pm. The reason to go to the parks in December is to see the holiday shows. Other holiday shows are shown throughout the day in USF.

The How The Grinch Stole Christmas stage show at IOA will still be performed on the 28th. There is a special breakfast with the Grinch in IOA available for 3 times in the morning, you can get reservations through their website.

Thanks for all this, much appreciated.
Do you think we need to get the fastpasses or dining plans?

So are we better off doing Harry potter later in the afternoon?

Don't suppose anyone knows what crowds at Busch will be like??

Thanks

Wait until you arrive and can see the wait times before purchasing Express Plus passes. You can purchase them throughout either park.

WWoHP is wonderful in the evening and it should be less crowded. Keep an eye on wait times throughout the day...if it's not too crowded, go ahead and visit.

I would imagine crowds at BGT will be around the same level as other theme parks in the area.
