Holiday Reservation Strategies

Coming up on my 180 day mark for our Nov/Dec trip. I know they won't announce dates for MVMCP or performers for the Candlelight Processional for a while, so can someone recommend any strategies for ADRs? I've seen the posts about MK closing early on the 30th (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!), and since we're at PVB we'll hit O'hana for breakfast on our last day, but other than that, I'm flying blind.

This traditionally spring / summer visitor would really appreciate any suggestions from holiday season vets!!!

We went in November last year. I started making reservations about 3-4 days after the 180 day window started. I then adjusted as the trip got closer and made more changes while there. We got everything we wanted including dinner at BOG. But then we do not put a high priority on dinng at WDW. As times and party dates were published we adjusted.
