I received mine yesterday from Sadiebell.

She sent holiday napkins, a pumpkin cookie cutter with a cookie recipe attached, a holiday towel, pasta partners sauce mix (which I'm eager to try) and some Moravian spice cookies (which she said are specialty item from her area).

And recipes...all hand written on cute little cards for:
Cream cheese braids
Buttermilk Pie
New Year's Day Chili (I haven't mentioned this one to my husband yet. He loves chili.)
Chocolate Pudding Cake with Oreo Icing (I gained 5 pounds just reading this.)
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (YUM!!)
Chocolate Peppermint Squares
Party Mix with a Kick
Cheese Ball with Chutney
Creamy Parmesan Orzo
Chicken Pie

They all sound so good. Now I just need to figure out which one to try first.

I received my package from mtblujeans yesterday. (I saw you mentined in a previos thread that you forgot to put a note inside, but you did have your Dis name on the envelope, so I know who you are!!)

I got recipes for Buttermilk Pancakes,Cranberry Coffee Cake, Honey Bun Cake, Meat Loaf, and Microwave Caramel Popcorn. I also go 2 Fall pot holders ( love the colors), a Joy of Cooking cookie kit (it has a mini book and 4 mini cookie citters, sooo cute), a recipe booklet for Jell-O, CoolWhip, and Baker's chocolate products, THe Sunset Spice and Herb guide which also has lots of recipes in it, and some great coupons. Thank you soo much.

Damsel's Chocolate Covered Cherries

Recipe By amsel in dis Dress
Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Candy

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 pounds powdered sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup butter -- softened
12 ounces real chocolate chips
3 jars maraschino cherries -- with stems
1/3 bar paraffin wax
6 tablespoons cherry juice

Combine sugar, butter, cherry juice and lemon juice. Chill 1-2 hours.
Drain maraschino cherries and chill thoroughly.
Make balls of dough the size of a cherry; flatten and wrap around cherry, sealing edges.
Freeze 1/2 hour or more.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips together with wax.
Reduce heat and dip frozen, dough coated cherries.
Dry on waxed paper. Place into bonbon papers.
NOTE: Keep refrigerated until the day candy is to be eaten, or the chocolate gets dull, and the center begins to crystallize.

Note: I do not use the paraffin

OK I am going nuts did my Buddy check in ? I know her freind said she didnt have a computer at home but I wanted to make sure she really had the package : ) My son did the mail thing for me and he didnt get the confirmation thing.

The person who has me doesnt need to rush I will be in Disney World starting early Tuesday and I wont be back in town to see my goodies till the 31st I will check in when I get home from the Mouse House

Country Brunch Skillet

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
6 bacon strips
6 cups cubed hash brown potatoes
3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon. Crumble and set aside.
Drain, leaving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Add potatoes, green pepper, onion, salt and pepper to drippings. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are browned and tender, about 15 minutes. Make six wells in the potato mixture. Break one egg into each well.
Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes or until eggs are completely set. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon.
