Holiday Recipe Exchange sent/received thread...COMPLETED!!

Oh, and I wish I could get more of those twix-it clips in those colors. I'd be sending the green ones in every exchange. I only have a few left and they don't come in those colors anymore. I might have to save a green one to hook on my bag when we go to WDW in a few months as my "DIS tag".
 
Hope to get mine out in a couple of days! Got the extras...now I need to copy the recipes!
 

My package was sent off this morning. It's going clear across the country so it probably won't arrive until monday.

Cheesy Artichoke Heart Appetizer

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 packages crescent dinner rolls
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese -- shredded
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese -- grated
1/2 cup miracle Whip® light
14 ounces artichoke hearts -- drained and chopped
4 ounces green chiles -- drained and chopped

Unroll dough into rectangles. Press onto bottom and sides of 15x10x1" jelly roll pan to form crust.
Bake 375 degrees, 10 minutes.
Combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spread over crust.
Bake 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
 
I got home last night and saw a package in the mail. I got all excited, but it wasn't my exchange. It was my latest "bonus" piece from Pampered Chef. Oh well...guess I still get to look forward to my package!!

Hidden Valley Torte

1 package Hidden Valley ranch dressing mix
16 ounces cream cheese
6 ounces marinated artichoke hearts -- drained and chopped
1/3 cup roasted red peppers -- drained and chopped
3 tablespoons fresh parsley -- minced

Cream cheese and dressing mix together.
In a separate bowl, stir together artichokes, peppers and parsley.
In a 3 cup bowl lined with plastic wrap, alternate layers of cheese and vegetable mixture--beginning with a cheese layer.
Chill 4 hours or overnight.
Invert on plate. Remove plastic wrap. Serve with crackers.

Molasses Yeast Rolls

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 package active dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water -- (110º-115º)
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 1/2 cups warm milk -- (110º-115º)
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup butter or margarine -- softened
1 egg -- beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add honey. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add milk, molasses, butter, egg, salt and whole wheat flour. Beat until smooth.
Stir in enough flour to form a soft dough.
Turn onto a floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 24 pieces.
Shape each into a 10" rope. Shape each rope into an "S". Coil ends until they touch the center.
Place 2" apart on greased baking sheets.
Cover and let rise until doubled, about 35 minutes.
Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans to wire racks.
