My wife and I typically visit Disneyland once a year right after school ends (early summer). Well we got some free tickets from some family members so we decided to go for 2 days the week of December 12th, during my sabbatical.
I am a huge planner and obviously did not book a hotel in advance to save money. So we will be using hotel points to stay for free. However, this hotel is a long walk away from the park. We typically stay across Harbor Blvd so the walk is typically 3-5 minutes. As I have a lot of foot problems and typically end up in a wheelchair while my wife pushes me I am looking to avoid walking. So I want to know about ART. How often do the shuttles arrive? If the park opens at 10am do the shuttles come early like 9am? If anyone has a link for this info I would really appreciate it.
Also, how are the crowd level's around that time of the year? As Arizona gets out of school earlier than most states we should be in the park while everyone is still in school.
What are some of the best things to see during the Christmas season? Finally, do you typically go around the park with a light jacket?
Thanks for your help.
