Holiday pricing questions

Just saw someone mentioned they paid holiday pricing last week? What is holiday pricing and when is it in effect?

Holiday surcharges are around $3-5 extra charges at fixed price and buffet locations (one price meals) during particular crowded times of year. I don't have this year's exact dates, but it's normally most of the summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year's, Easter too I think.

The Disney Dining Plan also costs more during that time - about $6/day more.

Summer prices started first week of June until Aug. 16th. Other times are mentioned above:

$4.00/adult and $2.00/child plus tax.
