Can anyone see any problems ?
I have tried to keep to 'light' days according to 'brits florida guide' (what a great purchase), and would like to visit pleasure island and citi walk at least once (always too tired last holiday, but determined to drag myself there this year).

Mostly eating in places like ponderosa to keep the cost down a little, but we would like to eat at a couple of special places, probably on our first night in magic kingdom, and then at epcot the week after, (its just me and other half) any suggestions ?

Is it right that people who use this board have lime green ribbons tied onto rucksacks etc ? where can I get some ?

Also thinking about dressing up for MNSSHP using last years halloween party costumes - me grim reaper (black sheet with hood, and painted skeleton face and skeleton gloves) and partner vampire (painted face, fangs, trickle of blood etc- nothing too grisly), but I heard someone say to be careful with scary costumes as we might not get let in, so was a bit worried. We wont be the only adults dressed up will we ? Any advice ?

Finishing the plan has made me so excited. It feels so close now. I feel like I am going to explode. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

As far as I know you can just use any old piece of lime green ribbon. I'm going to pick some up next time I'm in a craft store or near the haberdashery place on the markets.

You won't be the only adults dressed up at MNSSHP. I'm going as a fairy. I was thinking of buying a long, wide piece of lime green ribbon and wearing like a sash (Miss World style) and writing "DIS Tag Fairy" on it!

If you're eating at places like Ponderosa, make sure you try Golden Corral. It's similar but with loads more variety. It's my favourite place to eat in FL!

Looks like we're going to be out there at the same time! I'll keep my eyes out for a vampire and the grim reaper at MNSSHP if we're at the same one. We're ordering park tix tomorrow night, I can't wait!!!

Hi Saz!

I can feel your excitement from here :teeth:

If it's just you and your partner you might be fine but you might struggle a little bit with 3 full days in your first three days on top of jetlag? I know I would but possibly not before I had the children LOL

We have always found shopping in Florida a tad more busy on a weekend but to be honest it is still quiet in comparison to over here (much more enjoyable :) ) so you should be fine.

You are trying to pack a lot in, so I would just be mentally prepared to allow yourself the odd day off here and there - and then if you don;t need to that's great!

Yes definitely dress up for MNSSHP.

There are so many great eating places in Epcot it's really difficult to pick just one. One I particularly like is Le Cellier (steakhouse in Canada). In MK, will you be wanting to avoid a character meal? If so your options are slightly more limited for an evening meal. What about hopping on the monorail or getting a boat to one of the MK resorts for a meal? This would also give you a nice respite from the park.

I would check out the menus at All Ears to see what appeals. We really like 'Ohana at the Poly.

Hope that helps :)

Karen
