Holiday Ornaments Question

Pluto had an unfortunate accident coming off the tree this year. He lost his head. I'd blame the Queen of Hearts but when his head surfaced, his nose was missing as well. And, well, I've never known the Queen to order "Off with his nose!"

DD was greatly saddened by the loss since we had to lay him to rest as we couldn't find the missing nose. "But it's not the fab five without him!" she wailed.

I was so moved, I quickly promised to replace our dearly departed Pluto when we return to DL in the Fall.

But I'm second guessing myself on whether we'll be able to. If I recall holiday ornaments are available year round at the parks, but limited off-holiday season. Can anyone confirm? When are the stores stocked with holiday ornaments for the holiday season?

They started putting holiday ornaments out during the summer last year. That's when we were able to start buying the new ear hat ornaments.

There are stores that have ornaments out all year.

Ornaments were out right after Halloween. There are a few stores that keep them year round though.

Try EBay....... I had purchased Radko Mickey and Minnie ornaments on our last trip. I was really looking forward to getting a couple more this last trip to add to my Radko collection.

I was bummed to find out Disney does not have the Radko ornaments anymore. I got a discontinued Mickey ornament on EBay to commemorate out last trip.

Oh.... And my little guy had got a DTD build-a-bear on our trip 2 years ago complete with a bear sized ear hat. Wouldn't you know it the dog got the ear hat!! eBay to the rescue again...... Found the same ears!!

IF it is any consolation, read this. I did two weeks in FL in October-went from Universal to the World, and then back across country to get home. Made it all the way to kitchen with packed ornaments. (these $$$$ are gifts)

low and behold- Jiminy Cricket jumped. Jumped and Smashed. Smashed into pieces on floor. Pieces on floor look like Humpty Dumpty. Dumpty is on DH's workbench, being glued together. I emailed sister and told her Jiminy had a botched plastic surgery lift, was in recovery , and not ready to receive.



I can commiserate.

Do you a picture of the ornament? Even a broken one. I might be going to DLR next week. I could see if they have it and it there is a way for you to order it through DLR. I seem to remember a phone number to roder Park merchandise. May have been discontinued since the online Disney Store has a Parks merchandise section. Message me if you have any questions.

That # still exists, and they can still find and ship park products. DisneyStore.com carries some park products, but not all. In fact, they did not carry the ornaments I was after this year.

Thanks dizneekrazee. I poked around and found the phone number from DLR's website. It has changed from when I remembered it and seems to cover both DLR and WDW. The number is 877 560 6477.

My plan was to see if the Pluto ornament is still available. If it was, I was going to get the item number and have the OP call the above number to see if she could order it through Parks merchandise.

And yes DisneyStore.com park products are very limited. Very disappointing. IMHO, seems to mostly carry WDW stuff.

Just call Disney DelivEARS. Tell them what it is and if it's still available, they can ship it right to you. Easy peasy.
