Holiday menu

Is the holiday menu that is offered at Whispering Canyon just for Christmas Day or the entire Christmas week? If it is the entire week, is the bbq skillet still available? Is WC worth leaving MK for dinner, and later returning to MK? TIA

Just Christmas day. Hmmmm...."worth it" I'm assuming you are going the week between Christmas and New Years? I think that you will want a break from the parks, then again, you run a small chance of the park closing to capacity. It's going to be REALLY crowded and I personally couldn't stand to be in the parks all day with crowds like that but then again, I can't do a whole day in the parks in the middle of Sept when it's the least crowded. I would allow at least an hour just in transportation time, then another hour and half to eat, so is leaving the parks for 3 hours, worth it for you? The food is good, not great and its very loud, not a relaxing meal by any means.

We usually stay at WL but if we weren't yes I would consider a trip to WCC worth it especially at Christmas. The restaurant is fun and yes it can be noisy. You have the very relaxing boat ride over and back and the beautiful lobby with lots of comfortable seating if you need more down time. I would take a break in the lobby even if I wasn't eating at WCC.

Ok, thanks. My concern is the time leaving MK and returning, but I made the reservation, so hopefully it won't be too bad.
