Holiday Insurance

Hello Everyone,

We go to Orlando in July, so it is now time to purchase some holiday insurance (as well as everything else !!). There are 3 people going (2 adults & a 17yo).

Where is the best place to purchase some insurance from. I have used "moneysupermarket.com" before, but i was wondering if there are any more favourable places.

I've booked my insurance for December with 'Direct Travel Insurance'.

It cost £70 for family cover for 17 days in the US, and that's for their 'Premium Plus' cover.
The cover seems very good and is underwritten by AXA.

I am using Insure and Go for the second time. I found them to be good value with good coverage as well.

You get a credit card type thing with all the details you would need on it, so that's all you need to carry abroad. Also included were luggage stickers for inside the cases which had a barcode on it. That's for if your luggage is lost, it can be traced back to you quickly.

I got annual travel insurance (to cover two trips) through Sainsbury's for £86. This is for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

I was pleased with this as it had to cover pre-existing medical conditions too

I've got an anuual Direct Line travel policy for £100 and that covers myself, my lovely lady and the young 'un.

Annual family cover for 2 adults and 3 children under 23, in full time education, £141, including business cover and no excess, with M&S.
Plus they didn't turn a hair when DH rang to get advice on his brain tumour
We needed to claim for DH's health expenses and had the cheque 'in hand' within a week
I had many people reply to my post they they had bought cheaper but I'm a great believer in 'you get what you pay for'. I certainly intend to renew the policy for next year
