I'm booked for 14 night's at the Sunspree, any idea what I should expect, good or bad. I have stayed at HIFS the last 3 times so my expectations are
not high for the Sunspree, Thanks for any info you may offer.

Hi

I just came back from the H.I. Sunspree Hotel two weeks ago. I enjoyed myself and didn't find anything wrong with the room. I have read some bad reviews about this hotel and was very worried about staying there.

The room was clean. No mole, ants or bad smell in the room.
The people who worked there was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like is the dinner food. The breakfast was good and the children ate for free.
I would stay there again.

We stayed there about 5 years ago and would not even stay the night. Elevator was broken, room was filthy and smelled and there was feces around the side of the toilet bowl. We check in at 10:30pm and by 11:30pm we found another hotel in the phone book and we were out of there.

Like I said, this was 5 years ago. Things could have improved by now....they certainly couldn't get any worse.

Serenity, how much was the breakfast for adults?

Hi Siobhan1997

The breakfast was $9.95 and two children to one paying adult ate free.

Serenity

Serenity, is that $9.95 per adult? I only ask because we can get $104.95 a night AAA no breakfast or $116.95 and that includes breakfast for 2 adults. Our kids are 11 and 11 years. I assume they eat free?

The $9.95 is per adult. The children eat free.
You have a good deal for the hotel. Is that price $104.95 for a kids suite?

Serenity

Hi yes that is for a kids suites with double bunks . I am glad to hear that is a good price.
Thanks

We've stayed there. (king bed with bunk for the kids) No problems with the room at all. Breakfast was just so-so. I'm not a picky eater so maybe it was just an "off" day for the cook. I would stay there again.
