We've just stayed here from 31st March through 14th April. We had a kidsuite for me, my DH and 3 DD's.
We were a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but we were very satisfied with the place. We went with Virgin and I think they do get allocated the better rooms, ie. our room overlooked the pool and grounds rather than the carpark but what does it matter if you're only sleeping there?
Our kidsuite was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the pools are also very clean and warm, the hot tub was TOO hot!!!LOL
The evening buffet was OK but very long queues. We preferred to eat on-site or there is a nice Perkins over the road. Breakfast was definitely superior to evening meal (and no long queues!)
It's the closest hotel to WDW, we could be onsite in 5 mins so you cut out all the traffic heading that way and it took us about 20 mins to get to Sea World/Universal.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and keep the grounds looking very nice. If you have been to a British Haven or Hoseasons "quiet and peaceful" camp, this is the US equivalent.
We would definitely stay here again. The only reason we wouldn't is that my eldest DD will be too old for a kidsuite and we'll be looking for a 2 room suite rather than all 5 of us in one room.
Hope this is of some help to you
Elaine
P.S. Must be a glutton for punishment reading these boards. Am now getting terrible withdrawal symptoms!!!
