Holiday Inn Maingate East

Has anyone stayed here? What are your thoughts/ideas?

I have taken a tour of that hotel before. It is fairly comparable to other Holiday Inns in the area. It wouldn't be considered a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination but it is a great hotel for a family looking to spend under $100 per night.

The KidSuites are basically a standard room with a section walled off that contains two bunk beds, a TV, VCR, Nintento, and other kid friendly features. The KidSuites are all themed as well. Some are designed like castles, some have a western theme, jungle themes, etc.

Another great thing about this hotel is the fact that all the hotel management is required to go to clown school. On any given day you will probably find any number of clowns roaming around the hotel to entertain the children.

Overall it is a good hotel for a family with children under the age of 12 or so.
