Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites

Is there an convenient way to get to the gates from the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites on Walnut and Ball??? Is there a way to hop there on a tram from the garage? Is it convenient? We've previously stayed down by the Toy Story lot and walked in there to get to the gates. I'm looking for the tips from staying up on the other side. Any other hotels with transportation hacks that I should know about?? I already looked at Candy Cane Inn for our dates and it's sold out.

There isn't a "convenient" way to get to the M&F tram from that hotel -- you'll just have to walk on Ball to Disneyland Dr., take Disneyland Dr. south to Magic Way, cross at the signal and go into the pedestrian entrance for the structures, go through security, and get on the tram. Or maybe you can walk on Walnut to Magic Way. (Look on Google Maps to see how this works.) Or you could take ride share to the Harbor drop off. In the area north of M&F, the Majestic Garden has a private shuttle (like the CCI). You might look to see if they have availability for your dates. Majestic Garden is also walking distance to M&F for the tram.

South on S. Walnut, Left on Magic Way...intercept pedestrian path to either turn right into DTD or left into garage with trams. Easy peasy.

Have not done that walk since the new transpiration center opens at the garage to know how accessible it is but perviously it was actually quicker to just make the walk through DTD vs backtracking to the trams in the M&F Garage

It is easy and accessible. The new access to the pedestrian bridge/walkway which takes you to DTD has stairs, in case this is an issue for anyone.
