Has anyone stayed here?
It's located at Lake Buena Vista.
I need somewhere that has plenty for the kids (6 & 7)to do.
We only intend popping over for a week at the end of the year and using up a couple of park day passes at Disney, so we want a hotel that we can spend quite a bit of time in and just let the kids enjoy themselves.
I have just looked at the site and thought it looked ideal, but if someone has stayed there and can give me a personal view, I'd appreciate it., especially the 2 bedroomed kids suite, size . cleanliness etc.

Ive stayed at the Holiday Inn Family Suites in Kissimmee.

Clean and tidy, rooms good size, pushy lady pushing timeshares, swimming pool ok, better to lounge out at a water park.

We stayed at the Family Suites in 2001 in a 2 bedroom Classic Suite.

A great place to stay, I wouldn't say that the suites are enormous but we got 2 open plan bedrooms, 3 TVs , VCR, Fridge , Microwave and a small living room area.

The site also boasts 2 large swimming pools, a Children's play area, restaurant including free breakfast, bar etc

I think the location is ideal, close to all the attractions yet away from all the noise and tacky tourist spots on I-drive.

The only reason we would not stay there again is that our son is Autistic and we really need the extra room and private pool that a Villa provides.
Have a great stay.

We stayed there Christmas 2000.Two adults and three children, aged 7,7 and 8.We really looked forward to it,as everything we read or heard looked good. When we got there it wasn't quite the experience we'd anticipated, one or two of the squirty things in the pool didn't work,Virgin reps don't appear, although the reception said they did,the wash machine in the laundry room broke down, and the staff weren't very helpful, the free breakfast sometimes meant that there were long queues and a lot of spillage, which made it less enjoyable, but it was a very good place to stay.It was beautifully decorated for Xmas. There was a mini kid's club for about an hour or so,where ours made, fancy picture frames, and a hat.The rooms were very comfortable

Thanks for all the opinions.
Lots of different views and now I'm even more indecisive!!!!
OK, My choices are this hotel, book direct with the hotel and get a flydrive, Holiday Inn Nikki Bird, go with a package with Virgin but take up their offer of non- driving option and hire a car ourselves for a fraction of the cost of Virgin's cars ( we will get return transfers to and from the airport ) or stick to a villa. I have one in mind at Hidden Springs, £330 for the first week in December for 7 nights. Is this a good price? It is a 2 bed 2 bathroom with own pool, plenty big enough for us.The only problem is getting a flydrive quite cheap ( or a flight will do).
This will be our 2nd visit in one year and we don't want to spend a fortune.
Could we get a villa cheaper than £330?
Any suggestions?
