Ok whose been here... done that and would do it again?

Yup. We've done HIFS twice. (see my tag at the end). My kids love this hotel and given the choice they would stay at HIFS over Beach Club or Dixie. Now, if money were no object, I'd prefer onsite, but when you are going with a large family, HIFS is perfect. With the free breakfast and my large family, what a deal! Easy access to WDW, neat stuff for the kids to do at the hotel, a lockable mom and dad room, too wonderful {sigh} Wish I were going!

We've been there, done that (Feb 2002 for 2 weeks) and are trying to come up with a way to go back next February!!

We stayed there in Feb 2000 right after it opened. It was great!

Hi,
We are going to WDW for the first time on Nov. 10-17th. and are looking for a place to stay. We want simple, but very clean digs with free breakfast and good shuttle service. Does HIFS have these things? Also is it convenient to get to Universal/IOA as well?

baba...if you so a search under the "orlando and area attractions" board, for HIFS, you will find an abundance of info on this hotel. It was all the good reports I read on these boards that led me too book there....smartest move I made for our trip!!!

We stayed there last Spring for 8 days. It's a great hotel IF you're kids are quite young! Otherwise, it's busy and very loud! The buffet area for breakfast is a zoo!
Our daughters are 15 and 18 so for us a bit more 'peace' is nice and the running of the kids in the early a.m , up and down the outside 'halls' was an unpleasant wake-up call!

Just my opinion, do whatever works for you!
