We stayed here in June with my DD's dance team. The property itself is nice and the rooms are OK, too. There are two towers - one of them was a bit of a walk from the front desk area since it is a separate building. For our group, since we were travelling together, it was a bit of a hassle being placed in both buildings. If you get a pool view, ask for an upper floor because of the pool noise. It was open until 10pm and quite busy in the evenings.
The restaurant onsite was sit down and the prices weren't too bad, considering you are in a hotel restaurant. They had a kids eat free with adult promotion for kids up to 12, which they gave to us even though some of our girls were 13 and 14 (we didn't lie, they didn't ask and the bill reflected the discount). That made it a deal. There is a hot breakfast option with made to order waffles and omelettes. Otherwise, you can order off the menu or just get a continental option.
Walking time to DTD is about 8 minutes and very doable. Shuttle buses to the parks and DTD were reliable and on-time. They run every 1/2 hour and are shared with other hotels on that side of the street. Once or twice we needed to wait for the next bus as the one scheduled at that time was full. The buses do not run as continuously as Disney Transportation, but we were able to work with that.
If you have a car, there is a daily parking fee ($10?) that is charged to your room. They give you a code for the gate that is good for the length of your stay. They also have valet parking for an additional charge, but we didn't use it.
For the price we paid, I would stay here again.
