Just wondering how this places are? Holiday Inn ? Pool area? Safe and clean? How is the beach? What airport to fly into? Ron Jon looks nice. Looking for any other places on east coast with a nice pool Thanks

Stayed last summer in a Kidsuite. The room was in desperate need of work - the door had a huge gap at the bottom, silverfish in the bathroom, curtains didn't close properly. There were often no towels available for either the pool or our room and when we were promised some by the staff, they showed up an hour later or not at all. On all three days of our two night stay either the kiddie pool, hot tub or both were not functioning. Our vehicle's license plate stickers were removed, ripped up and reattached to various other parts of it. There was a loud and rowdy coaches conference going on with people sitting in the parking lot and playing boomboxes.

On the plus side: the beach was fantastic and the on-site restaraunt was great.

I complained at checkout and got one of our two nights free, but we won't be back. The only reason we stayed was that the kids really loved the Kidsuite part after they saw it.

We just returned from 4 nights at the Ron Jon Resort. The resort and the water park are beautiful! Everything is brand new. Now for the down side. The resort is very unorganized and poorly run. Maybe because it is so new. It seemed like it was a battle to do or get anything. They were even unable to tell us where to order pizza! Vacation is suppose to be fun and carefree, staying here was stressful!
