Holiday Inn any good?

I'll be out at Anaheim for a conference at the end of June. One of the few hotels that matched up my dates was the Holiday Inn & Suites. It says it's really close to Disneyland. Did I just book a bad place? I know a lot about WDW hotels, but nothing about Disneyland. Help me not to get in trouble with my supervisor. She will be rooming with me.

We love the Holiday Inn and Suites. Is it the one on State College Road? The room was nice and roomy. We stayed with our 4 boys for 4 nights. They loved the elevators that you could see out of. It is also a quick hop onto I5 and off at DLR. 10 minutes, tops. Plus you are close to 2 malls, Block at Orange and one I can't remember the name of that is east and north of the hotel.

No, this Holiday Inn is located at 1240 So. Walnut St.. According to the promo from the hotel page, it's the closest Holiday Inn to Disneyland.

My sisters stayed there in November and didn't have anything good to say about the Holiday Inn you're talking about. It's a bit far and on the back side of the park so you have to walk almost all of the way around. Instead they took a cab each day that they were there, they said this was way faster and only cost about $5 or something. Also, the rooms weren't very nice, they said they were kinda dingy and they smelled.

Thanks! That was interesting. I'm glad that my focus is on a conference and not visiting DLR. I would be very unhappy. I'm not real happy about your sister's review of the place. The website touted it as being refurbished in 2005, or something like that. Her review might explain why it's still available for the conference.
