Holiday Inn Anaheim - Resort Area?

So it looks like we are booking this hotel. I wanted to go with the Coast Anaheim Hotel because it is within walking distance but my father wanted the Holiday Inn Anaheim - Resort Area because it is only 3-4 years old. Anybody stayed here? Good/Bad? How is the shuttle service to/from Disneyland?

I think it's also within walking distance although I'd take the shuttle if convenient. It's not a new hotel - I know someone who stayed there during the 1984 Olympics - but I believe they had a substantial refurbishment when it was acquired by Holiday Inn. Maybe that's where the 3-4 year figure came from.

This is a different Holiday Inn. There is about 3 of them in the Disneyland area.

The one I am talking about states on the website that it was built in 2001.

Ok - I don't know anything about that one other than it's definitely not walking distance. Be sure to give us a report when you get back.
