Holiday in October

Can anyone tell me what the parks are like in October - and also what the weather is like? i have only ever been in June when it is absolutely boiling hot and humid.

Do the parks tend to be busy during the week from the 16-29th October. Also is there anything halloween themed in any of the parks on any other night aside from Halloween night?

Do the parks still do the fireworks display in October given that the parks arent open very late during October

Generally October is a good month to go. The crowds during the week days should be managable. No Halloween things other than HHN that I can think of.

Past years they have had a behind the scenes day tour that takes you through some of the houses. The price was wonderful last year and it was completely worth it - but then again, we are HHN fans.

Weather in October can be tricky but the past few years it's still been HOT. Defintely more pleasant than August but hot and humid none the less.

Don't know much about the fireworks but I tend to think no because the parks will close early on HHN nights.

October is a fantastic time to go! Warm but not unbearable and parks relatively quiet. We are going from 13-27 Oct and we can't wait!!
Fireworks were still on last time we were there and the Halloween celebrations didn't really affect us You'll have a great time!

No fireworks in USF or IOA.
