I we are a family of 4. We have 2 teenagers and are flying to LA and hiring a car in March. Can anyone give us some tips on where to stay and the best way to book Disneyland? We will stay there 2days or so. No plans other than the flight and car hire at this stage. Thanks.

This part of the boards is for planning non-Disneyland trips in Southern California. You'll get more attention if you post in the Disneyland planning portion! :thumbsup2

That said, March could be busy if you go during spring break - depends on your dates. Late March is busier than early. 2 days for teenagers would be the absolute minimum I'd recommend. I'd normally recommend 3 or 4 but maybe your teens can knock out a lot more than younger kids.

I suggest you get the Southern California citypass. it comes with a 3 day park hopper to Disneyland and Disney California adventure. one day at Universal and one day at seaworld (san diego).

I would also suggest going to knots berry farm. they have lots of ride teenagers would love. lots of roller coasters.

we actually stay at the knots resort hotel when we go.
