Would someone tell me when the Christmas decorations are up at WDW?

We are going January 1, but don't arrive until evening. Will we see any of the holiday decorations that evening or the next day?

Can't wait for the 2004 schedule, we are so excited about going again this year.

We'll be cruising from 12/5 to the 9th, then at the parks til the 14th.

And they are going to have the Osborne Lights this year.

Yes, they're going to have the Osborne lights this year, but they're going to be put up on the new city streets, not residential houses like before. Also, they're scheduled to be up through the second, which could mean that they're up on the third. I know that on one previous year, they were still being displayed the next night.

We were at MK the Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving last year and there were already decorations up. Most the holiday decorations stay up through first week in January, they come down little by little. You may see something one evening and then the next morning it is gone.

We were in WDW Nov '02 (16th-23rd), and the Christmas decorations started to appear the first morning after our arrival, and continued to appear throughout our vacation.
