Holiday DDP

I am still a new member and still trying to remember all of the different perks available to us.
I thought I remembered reading that we can purchase the DDP during peak times and only have to pay non-peak pricing.
Also, if this is true, do we have to be staying at a DVC resort? We are staying at AoA for 4 nights at xmas before heading to Kidani for 12 nights. We have been thinking that maybe it might be worth it, just this one more time, to purchase it if we only have to pay the regular pricing.

As far as I know, you must be staying on a room reservation made through Member Services, so your AoA stay would not be eligible. Kidani, assuming it is on points or DVC Member Cash, can add the DDP for all nights without the seasonal upcharge.

There are black out dates.

The TIW discount is not available on holidays including New Year’s Eve, Year Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
