Does anyone know when the dcl holiday blanket will be available to order for this year's holiday cruises?

I heard from someone in my cruise group they usually have them available to book sometime in September. I've been checking once a week just in case because I understand they do sell out.

I know that the Halloween decorations just came out the week before last (mid-July), so I would bet that the Holiday decor is available in a month - 6 weeks, or so.

Does anyone have a picture of what one looks like? I did a Very Merry cruise last year and never noticed it as an option for the gift to purchase.

This is the one from last year but I’m pretty sure the design changes every year. It comes with the Mickey pillow at the top of the bed.

I recently checked on this for our upcoming cruise. Shoreside concierge told me they hope to have it available by end of August but didn’t know for sure.

Yes. There is 1 pillow and 1 blanket per set - the photo shows 2 sets (the second blanket is folded between the pillows).

We ordered the Holiday blanket set last year for our Merrytime cruise. The set comes with the red Santa Sack-looking drawstring bag to pack the blanket and pillow into. We love them! They are still in my family room and the kids use them all the time. Last year (and I was told in years past) they sell out really quickly. So if you are considering purchasing them, do not hesitate.

The Christmas themed items will only be available on cruises that are designated as Merrytime cruises. Back before the changed the on-board gifts to online ordering, it would list the sail dates the merchandise could be purchased on and you couldn't order those items for other sail dates. Now, since you can log in using your reservation number to order gifts online, I suspect they will only show you what is available for your particular cruise.

I was able to order the holidays blankets last year on our 11/3 sailing which was not a very merrytime sailing, but the one after us was.
