Holiday announcements are incoming..

Fingers crossed for something that looks more like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and less like the After Hours Boo Bash ::yes::
Not sure I share that sympathy. One and done with the overcrowded Halloween and Christmas parties with long lines for everything. If Boo Bash is truly an After Hours event I will welcome more of the same for Christmas.

To each their own. Boo to You, the Sanderson Sisters stage show, Trick of Treating, Halloween fireworks - I’d prefer all of those were I going in Oct.

Same with Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Cookies, Treats & Drinks, Snow on Main Street and Christmas fireworks - and because I’m going in November I’m holding out hope for these things.

Getting on a million rides in an evening isn’t my priority, so I could care less for After Hours. To me, party events are about the theming, special experiences and entertainment.

I agree completely with this. Christmas parties get busier and busier every year. 2019 was absolutely mobbed to the point where it was frustrating and took half the magic out of the event. The shows got so packed that people walk right into you and you can't get out of your own way. We tried to watch the parade, but the viewing was 4 or 5 people deep.

I’m not sure I’m ready to criticize something I’ve yet to experience (Boo Bash) but I do think the parties had become an overcrowded waste of time and money. Packed stage shows, parade route with people staking out their spot 90 minutes early, long lines for meet and greets…. Will agree to disagree. Holding out hope for a fun filled Boo Bash with plenty of Halloween entertainment, theming, and special experiences.

Agree. We enjoyed MNSSHP less that last time we went. Way too crowded. Long lines for most rides. Huge crowds waiting for the parades and stage shows. 2 hour + waits for the special character M&Gs.

Yup! I went for 1 hour and left. I could not deal with the crowds. My foot got ran over with a stroller
twice also. The rest of my family stayed and they loved it. So I see both sides. Whichever one they have
we will be there. :)

We were there for the Thanksgiving weekend last year and really missed the normal Christmas events. So much is coming back this year, but we're not all the way back to normal yet. I was so hoping that the Candlelight Processional would be back this year and it's not on the list. I'm really feeling the absence of that one - it's my favorite event. Trying to get excited about the rest, but the Candlelight Processional is a big one for me.
