Okay, I've read . . . and read. I've checked out post after post. I always thought that I was the best of the best when it came to Disney planning. BUT, I feel defeated now. Can someone PLEASE help me figure out the following:

Our trip is the week before Christmas. I am going with a bunch of broads that love to get up early. Do I plan to take advantage of the early entry days? Or do I scrap that because everyone else will be doing it - thus rendering that strategy null and void. Do we just arrive at non early entry parks on time? Do the ee parks really get that crazy? Or am I overthinking ALL of this because I am going during a "slower" time of year. Or is there ANY "slower" time of year anymore??????

I have succumbed to DP!!!!!!! (Disney Panic)

We didn't use the morning EMH on our last two trips, but that's basically because we didn't need to. So, I can't give you any hard and fast info about the current EMH's in the mornings. But, based on what I have done in the past....I would take advantage of them. If you guys like to get up and at 'em, then head to EMH. I don't think they are nearly as crowded as the evening EMHs. The other thing that we did do was to go to the park on the day after it had evening EMH. It did seem to be a lot less crowded. We did do some evening EMHs but those got chaotic quite quickly!!!

I would definately take advantage of them, especially since the week before Christmas is absolutely not slow season! It gets steadily busier as the month of Dec. progresses, with the time between Christmas and New Year's being the worst.

Definitely!!!! Be there at the front when the rope drops. You'll be able to accomplish more in the first hour than you could in three hours later in the day.

I'm jealous... I wanna go back!!!!!!!! :cold:

Hmmmm, using the term "broads" is not a good way to start out. ;)

You should take advantage of evening EMH, but I personally do not think that AM EMH is beneficial.

We took advantage of the EMH last year as we are all early risers too. I thought it was beneficial. We walked on most rides or had very short waits without a FP. We then used FP to go back through popular rides. This year we will try the evening EMH and see how it goes. I was hoping the crowds might thin out as families took their tiny tykes back for the night, but who knows.... :rotfl:

Early entry works just fine, I can do everything I want by about 11:00 a.m., and then I leave that park, and go to a less crowded one.
