On our trip 2 years ago we noticed a few people with neck lanyard thingies specifically for GACs. They were plastic sleeves to protect them... and then ribbon to wear around your neck. I search EVERYWHERE the last time we were there and couldn't ever find one. I asked one person and they told me they bought it in the shop right on main street but when I asked in there they had no clue what I was talking about. Does anyone know where I could find something like this?? Our GAC got really tattered after a week in my back pocket!!

TIA!!

They are actually made for fast passes. You can find them near the Pin and Key chain racks.

I wrote to the hydration company camelback. They sent me several water holders that are water proof. DH attached a keychain ring to the lanyard and we attached the water holder, which now it the GAC holder. I have ripped several of the ticket holders trying to open then and found this a beefer version.

We put the GAC on the back side and our kttw on the front, then flip it when we need to show it to a CM

We use a Fishing License holder from walmart. It is more sturdy and cheaper than the fast pass holder, it just doesn't have a lanyard.

I use the clear plastic pin trading holder from Disney with the metal clip on it (you have to fold the GAC in half) and clip it to my Bagallini, if the CM needs to see it, they just flip it over.

I use a passport ID holder I got at Walmart for 99 cents. It has a shoelace type lanyard on it & is comfortable on my neck. (100% cotton) It has a heavy duty, plastic ziplock, clear, water resistant bag on the end. The GAC fits without bending it.
I have also reused one I got at Epcot when we went to the dinner & Candlelight processional. (about 5 years ago)

If you are wearing these things around your neck, make sure it has a safety release on it that works (give it a good tug and make sure it comes undone without causing your neck any injury!) so you don't accidently choke yourself. I think if you buy one at WDW it should be safe, but not all safety releases are created equal. I used to wear a lanyard at work, and one did not let go on me fast enough - I got a bit of a choke/drag when it was snatched by a student.

I've bought some really pretty ones at the Hallmark store, but they are pricey.
