holder for GAC

On our last trip to WDW we noticed a few other people in line with the GAC's in a clear plastic holder on a lanyard. We got tried of fishing ours out every time we got in line, but never thought to ask any of those peole where to get on. I have looked at our local Walmart and offic supply stores and the only things I can find are to small. If any one knows where I might be able to order on I would be very thankful. We are going agin in June so I would like to haveo ne before then. Thanks.

We just put ours in the pouch that goes on the Disney pin lanyard. We folded it in half facing out and it worked great.

I used a fishing license holder that we had around. Probably picked it up at REI for around $1. Originally we used it for holding cell phones/touring notes on wet rides.

The DH and I have badge protectors I bought at Staples. We just fold the GAC in half, so the stamps show, and take it out if we need to. However, I did get retractable lanyard holders (BadgeMates Carabiner Badge Reels), which clip onto our belt loops. That way we can just slip the GAC/protector into our pants pockets, and whip it out to show the CM, and it retracts right back, nice and safe, especially when we're more focused on directing DSs.

I do like the idea of the fishing license protectors. I'll have to check them out and see if they'll work with the badge reels.

I really liked the PassPorter Pouch for our GAC.

I think GKTW provides the lanyard and pouches for MAW kids parents to hold their special GAC's. People may have saved them from past trips too ( not the GAC itself but the holders. )I like the ideas mentioned above. I wouldn't want to wear mine but do like to keep it from getting crumpled or wet.---Kathy

Couldn't you also get some of those laminating sheets and laminate it. The ones I mean you don't need a machine for. Then maybe Guest Services could punch a whole in it for putting on a lanyard. The laminating sheets that I have seen come to about a size of 3''x5'' and larger.
