Thursday, January 19th, 2012
On this morning we woke up early- actually, every morning we woke up early. Hence the title! But in the long run, waking up early worked. We never- not once- had to wait in line longer than 5-10 minutes for anything, even when we didn't have FPs!
While I was getting ready this morning
Mom went outside our room to take some pics of the view
Soon we were ready to go (it must've been around 8-8:30)
We headed to the bus stops and joined the line for the MK bus. It was taking forever for the MK bus to come- a bus for every other bus stop had come by the time two MK buses came for us lol
The ride to MK is the longest from POP, but time went by as I played Temple Run the whole time.
Now, if you remember, Obama was going to be in the Magic Kingdom the same day as us. And surprisingly, there was hardly anyone at the park. Anyways, Obama was supposed to be at MK to give a speech about tourism... but his plane wasn't landing until 11:20 I think, and his family would be spending the rest of the day at the Park, but he would be leaving. That's what I gathered up, at least.
But we had a reason to be in MK this morning- I didn't know the reason at the time, but there was a reason!
Unfortunately, Main Street had been blocked off for Obama
So we had to go around the back way- which was lined with floats and other interesting things- they did a good job with that!
The thing that made having to go the back way okay, was the DJ was playing Justin Bieber! lol!
The back way took us over to Tomorrowland... where we headed straight for Space Mountain!
Honestly, we waited like two minutes before we were seated in the back tw cars of our rocket ship! it was a fun ride
We couldn't ride TTA, because it was down. Well, we assumed it was down for some security reasons of Obama being there.
So we went to ride the tea cups!
And we got a really good look at Beast's castle!
Hmm... where to next???

I'm enjoying your TR so far! I think it's so cool that you were there the same time as Obama! I also think my trip and your trip were only like a day off, because I went home on the 17th! Anyways, I'm in!

Actually I'm in AP Euro right now too lol, I just had to do a pre-class reading assignment before the semester started. It's alright so far- I'm doing better than I thought I would, but I'm only a sophomore and everyone else besides my friends are older than me haha

Our next stop was... Winnie the Pooh!
Something we never ever ride, since waiting 20-30 minutes for this isn't really our thing
But there wasn't a wait at all
After Pooh's ride, we hopped into the nonexistent Snow White line
And- huge surprise here- we decided to ride Peter Pan... and guess what- there was no line!
I'm telling ya- getting there early in the morning is the best thing you can possibly do
Around now, mom asked if I had figured out her surprise. I had no clue what she was talking about. She told me she had made breakfast reservations for us today, at some place we have never eaten at. I asked if it was around where we were right now, and she said yes. So what other place to guess than Cinderella's Castle?!
Honestly, I'm not sure how I didn't figure it out before. I mean, I had been wondering why we were at Magic Kingdom right now, because of the whole Obama thing. Now I knew it was because we had ~10 o'clock reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table!
It wasn't time yet for our breakfast, so we decided to ride It's A Small World
And then BOOM, we decided to go check in
How would breakfast with the Princesses go?

Thursday, January 19th
We checked in and right as you enter, there's this room where you can wait in line to meet Cinderella and then wait for your reservation
This was our picture with Cindy- she's my favorite princess!
She asked us if it was a girl's day out without the boys- which it was!
Our name was called shortly after and we were brought up the stairs and high into the castle! Our table was right by the window
Our food started to come immediately
And our server, Scott, gave me a wishing star and wand, he said I hadda use them lol

Snow White was the first princess to visit
(btw all the princesses were my height or shorter-ish! And I promise I'm not that tall lol, I'm around 5'4")
Snow White was really sweet, and she said I was beautiful, so she's an A+ in my book
After Snow left, our server gave me a Birthday card signed by all the princesses!
And a cupcake
Next Sleeping Beauty came
She was really nice and wished me a happy birthday
Ariel came next!
I think I decided she was my favorite- her voice was PERFECT and she was funny. She told me she liked my hair (which is quite the compliment coming from the Princess with the best hair of all!) and told me happy birthday
Belle was last
She was really nice and also wished me a happy birthday
Then there was the wishing ceremony thing. You had to take your wishing star and make a wish and wave your wand over your star. I held the star and made a wish, but made my mom wave the wand lol!
It was a fun breakfast, and I can confirm that my brothers and dad would NOT have enjoyed it! It was really cute to see all the little girls though, they were all so excited!
