Hold hands on FJ?

Just wondered...
I've read you can't see each other while on FJ, and you have the harness down. Anyone know if you can hold hands with your neighbour?!
After watching the youtube video of the ride our youngest is excited to ride, but asked if she could still hold my hand...and I didn't know, but I knew someone here would!

Yes, I held my neighbor's hands, knees, thigh.. whatever I can grab. I was so nervous.

I put my hand on DS's knee. Squeezed his knee to close his eyes when the arachnids showed up, then again once they were gone so he opened his eyes. Man oh man did I dislike having to look at those things...

Just make sure you lower your harnesses first.. hands can get squished if they're in the way!

A knee squeeze will also be a good idea and I feel happier knowing I can touch her if she needs me!
Maybe I'll need her more than she needs me!

Yeah you can hold hands but you can't really see each other because the bars are in he way.
