I called HoJo to inquire about reservations...They told me the Entermainment rate was $103? I know most have gotten in for a lower rate...Is it worth staying at $103...

I am guessing you got connected to the main reservations line. Call the local number to the hotel and ask for in house reservations. The people at the main reservations line don't know about the special entertainment rates the hotel offers locally.

While I agree that the people at the national reservations line don't know anything about this and you should make sure that you talked to in-house reservations and it's a good idea to call back and check, it is possible that $103 is the entertainment rate for the night(s) you asked about. Yes, Hojo offers great $59, $69, $79, and $99 room rates, depending on room type, for many dates throughout the year, but those super-discounted rates are not offered for all dates. If you are trying to book days not offered at the super discount rate, the entertainment discount is simply 15% off, which may well be $103 for whatever night you asked about.

Here is a link to the dates for which the full discount rate is currently offered (subject to change, they update this page often):

One of our nights isn't covered with the full ent. rate and $103 is what we are paying after our ET rate discount. HTH :goodvibes

I guess I would add that whether something is "worth it" depends on what you are looking for. When we stay at Hojos, we have been fortunate enough to get the best Entertainment rate most of the time. We have paid more to stay there though; I think we have gone as high as $120 per night a couple of years ago for a building 2 deluxe room at peak season. For us, it was still "worth it" because we were familiar with the hotel and felt comfortable there, and all the alternatives we deemed acceptable by our Disney hotel choosing criteria (walking distance, clean, ample parking, decent reputation) cost as much or more for the same dates (which for that particular trip were not flexible for us).

I agree with you -- I was thinking about booking a different hotel for our trip next month, there were 2 that were significantly cheaper than Hojos, but I just didn't want to take the chance with trying a new hotel when we are always so happy at Hojos. :goodvibes

Thanks...it looks like 2 of our days should be covered with the full entertainment rate so I will call back and see if I can get it changed...I'm going to be paying for 2 rooms so anything helps...

All the talk about HoJo's makes me want to stay there...
