There was a post the other day about it, and most said it was bad.

Everyone on the DIS like's HOJO's the best but have read good things about Candy Cane too

Hojo's is great, especially if you can get the Entertainment discount. It's clean, it's safe, it's close; the staff is friendly & helpful and the beds are super-comfy.

I've not stayed at CCI but have heard good things about it. It has its own shuttle bus to/from the Park & also free breakfast.

After my last experience at the Castle, well...to be blunt...I wouldn't let my dog stay there...she might come home with BUGS! :scared1: :rotfl:

ive heard lots bad things bout castle dont go there save your self the tropuble
if you go to hojos call an make a resvation before feb 1st or you will be stuck with there new cancelation policy

CCI is my family's favorite. Never had a bad experience. Hojo is great if you get the ENT rate. Haven't done Castle and won't until the reviews change drastically. Anaheim Plaza Inn is our budget/last minute choice.

OT but you live REALLY close to me!!

What is the entertainment coupon/deal? and how do you get it?

there was a post about it a little while ago. you can also go to their website and look at the discussion board and see it as well as to see if your dates are listed.

To get the Entertainment rate (if it is available for the dates you want), you must call the HOJO directly at 714-776-6120 to make your reservation. Then when you check in, you'll need to show them your Entertainment Book card that came with your area Entertainment Book.

The Entertainment rate is only available certain days. Here is a link showing you the different Entertainment rates for various room types and the dates you can get the rate. (It's a GREAT DEAL by the way!)

Hope that helps. :thumbsup2

Stay far far far away from the Castle Inn....we stayed there once and it was the WORST hotel I have stayed in!!!! Service was severely lacking, we booked a room for 6 people (2 adults, 4 kids) and had 4 towels, no extra blankets and it was cold that weekend, it was loud every day from people running around outside, the staff was rude (1 lady yelled at my daughter over the phone when she called the front desk to ask about wifi), we asked for towels, never got them (we asked multiple times), no pool towels altho the pool was opened and when we asked for pool towels we were told they'd bring out to the pool and no one showed up.....when we complained the front desk staff didn't care at all, after our stay I complained via email and received NO response...I wll never stay there again.

The HoJo & CCI are both awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are my 2 favorite off-site hotels. :)

I just want to be sure, the Castle Inn is different from Camelot Inn or Carousel Inn right? Those are our top two options for our stay this year. I haven't seen Castle Inn while looking around and it sounds like I don't want to! :)

Yes; they are 3 totally different hotels, though Camelot also has a "castle" theme.

I know everyone is saying bad things about Castle Inn but I've been more than once and never experienced any problems. :confused3 It's close enough to walk and not expensive. Sure it could use a remodel but it was great for the money.
Also, lots of good recent reviews on TripAdvisor.

Same here. I've stayed there twice and had no complaints, and thought the front desk was very friendly and helpful!
