HoJo to DLH

Hello all,
My first post while planning a mid-August trip to DLR with my 10 yr old grandson. We have reservations at HoJo's for 3 nights and a 2 day Parkhopper pass. Taking a shuttle to from LAX. On our departure/travel day I thought we would have breakfast at Goofy's kitchen. Is this walkable?

It is. You'll need to go through security at the esplanade and exit the other side and walk straight through Downtown Disney to the Disneyland Hotel.

No park pass needed to enter the esplanade, so you can go through security and exit without going through a ticket booth.

If you look at the esplanade as a clock face, security is at 3 and 9. Ticket booths are in front of the park gates at 12 and 6. You can just go straight through from 3 to 9 and on into DTD. It's not a short walk, but it is walkable.

It will take you about 20 minutes to walk to goofys kitchen, plus the time spent waiting in line at security. The last half you'll be walking through downtown disney, so there's lots of sights/smells/sound, so hopefully it won't feel like so long of a walk.
