I just booked 2 rooms at HoJo's with the Entertainment rate! The lady that made the reservation said that they only had "deluxe" rooms left, so that is what I booked. Does anyone know how a deluxe room differs from a standard room? Is it bigger? better view? Or is the deluxe room one of the "home office" rooms that I have read about? Thanks for any info!

Neither, I'm afraid.

By putting in a dummy booking on www.hojoanaheim.com, I was offered a series of rooms, including one described as "deluxe" - which has the code NQQ2 - you can see the layout and location here - http://www.hojoanaheim.com/pdf/room_layouts.pdf

In short it is the newly renovated building in the far corner of the property overlooking the second quieter pool.

The rooms come as "standard" "Deluxe" and "Premium Disney view" - the home office rooms are separate and I think there's only 2 of these anyway.

But, it's definitely worth asking for a Disney view when you get there - if there is one available they will give it to you without charge.

for $49.00/nite, I did not expect anything but standard. I was just thrown when she said" all we have available with 2 queens is our deluxe room". That made it sound like something more than what a "standard" room would be. I guess they call their standard rooms deluxe. I have seen hotels do that before. I will ask for a theme park view when we arrive and hope for a free upgrade. But, I will be fine with what we booked!
