I would love it if someone could help me find the answers to my questions. We have 99.9% decided that we will be staying at HOJO in May, however we have family members who have stayed there in the past and have talked poorly about the place, I try to get their thoughts out of my head, because it was only their opinions and so many other people speak so highly of the place and secondly, they are extremely picky folks too!

First question: Has the place been remodeled and if so, the whole place or certain buildings??

Second: I'm booking with Alaska do have the Kids Fly Free program. The only room I'm allowed to book is the Run of the House, which is fine, but I don't want to get stuck with a horrible location room. Is there anyway to reserve a room ahead of time??

Third: Where can I locate the entertain rates for HOJO and is there anyway I can combine with Kids Fly Free??

Hi LilyPaige!

These are great questions! I can definitely answer some of them for you!

Booking through a travel company does indeed get you a Run-of-the-House room- and that just means that your room type will not be assigned until your time of check-in, and that the room type that you get will be based on our availability of rooms that can accomodate your party at that time.

[There is a way to get around this, though! After you book your reservation with the travel company, if you call us directly at the hotel- we can upgrade your room to a specific room type for you over the phone. There is a charge of $15 + tax/night to do this- but it will guarantee you your preferred location on our property.]

We haven't had a major remodel of buildings at the hotel for awhile, but we are constantly updating our rooms- and that's ALL of our rooms on our property.

To check on booking directly with us here at the hotel, or to get Entertainment Rates, you can give us a call at 714-776-6120 and ask for In-House Reservations.

As far as combining ET rates with Kids Fly Free- as far as I know, I believe they're two separate programs- so I am not sure that they can be combined.

I hope this helps! If there are any other questions you can think of, please let me know!

Regards,
Lorealle

We stayed at HOJO in Oct of 2006 and enjoyed it. We had previously stayed at the DLH and I was a little nervous off site, but it was great. We had a room that overlooked the pool. Loved the gift shop and choice of food in the area. We would stay there again.

Lorealle, is that charge $15 per day or total plus tax??

The way I read it, it is $15 per night of your stay, plus tax. So if you are staying 5 nights, it would be an extra $60 to your total plus tax.
