Hojo question

We booked 9 nights at Hojo's on Thursday night (4/11-13/11) with our TA and paid. Now 5 of those nights are now available at the retro rate (4-8/11)!

I rang Hojo's but our booking has not shown up yet which is fine but does anyone know if it is even possible to change those nights to retro rate if we've booked with a TA?

Also if the booking has not been made in full yet, if I was to send a package (from the Disney store :) ) to Hojo's before the booking shows up will they still hold it for me? Really want to use the 25% off on the site asap!
 
Sorry, I don't know about applying the retro rate at Hojos if you have booked via a TA. We booked by phone ourselves, and they easily applied the rates in that case.
I personally wouldn't be sending parcels to a hotel 5 months before. A few weeks before maybe, but 5 months is way too long a time in my opinion.

I have a feeling the answer will be no. I have seen that question asked before on the DL board and also on the HoJo board and from what I remember is it can't be changed with booked through a third party, only when booked direct. But I guess it depends if your TA has booked direct with the hotel or through a wholesaler. My guess is through a wholesaler as HoJo would have the booking already if they had booked direct. It's a bit strange that you have booked and paid and HoJo doesn't even have a record of the booking though :confused3

If you do the order, just make sure your check in date is listed on the package and also if there is a delivery notes section, I would also add a little note for HoJo's saying who your booking was made through if you are worried. But it is a long way out, they will probably have specials before then.

I'm not pinning my hopes on it changing but saving $250ish between the two of us (its the 5 nights the others are in NCY go figure!) would be lovely! More money for Disney :thumbsup2

I spoke to a TA at the agency I used as my TA is on holidays and she was great, so I've emailed the details to her and she'll look into it on Monday and I'd love to find out that she could do it but not going to be upset if she cant :rolleyes1

I know 5 months is super early but theres a few things I adore and am paranoid they won't be available later...but in saying that some things I love I've watched disappear and reappear over the last few months :rolleyes: I'll probably pass on it and just watch as the sales pop up between now and October and buy as great discounts show up :goodvibes

If only the color fusion range had been in stock when I did my order in March when it was 25% for the Disney Store anniversary! It just looks so nice and bright but now only the cups are available :sad:
 

Looks like we might have a shot, TA checked it out and to match the deal they need a screen shot of the total cost including taxes from Hojo's website with a conversion to AUS $.

Have just replied to her email and hopefully I'll know in the next few days if they'll match it or not :) bit surprised I didn't get a flat out no!
 
We stayed at Hojos last October for 10 nights - got Entertainment book rates for about half of them - Paid in full and then while we were there, DH looked and saw a couple more of the nights had come up at Ebook rates - he asked at reception and they refunded the difference for us - pretty nice of them I thought - we love Hojos! - so hopefully they will do likewise for you.

Also I bought stuff from the Disney store on sale about 2 months before we arrived and had it delivered to Hojos and they held it - I rang and made sure that would be okay and told them our arrival dates just to be certain.
