HOJO Premium Room question

Currently have reservation using 15% off at HoJo next June..hope dates come up at Entertainment rate. A couple questions:

1. How far out do the rates come out for June (know they just released some for April).

2. Read thru reviews on Tripadvisor and some people said some of the Disney facing rooms were noisy---near the freeway? Is this true---are there some of those rooms to try and avoid?

Chose this as it was decent rate and want to walk to Disney. Any other suggested hotels to look into?

Thanks!!!

Yes, some of the premium rooms can get some freeway noise. If you request a room close to the elevator, that will put you the farthest from the freeway wall. The rooms at the very end of the hallway are the rooms I have experienced freeway noise in. The 2 and the very end are connecting rooms and they are particularly bad, especially on the 7th floor since you are above the wall and get the full brunt of the noise.

Sorry, I have no idea when HoJo will release June ET dates.

You will most likely be checking your room rates up until the day you leave. I had ressies in June for Fairfield Inn and Hojo, and I cancelled Hojo to stay at FFI because they didn't have the room type I wanted. (I would have had to switch rooms, etc.) The day I left, I saw they announced Ent discounts for most of my nights. (Wouldn't have made a difference to me anyway because they were still sold out of our room type on some of the nights and I didn't want to switch rooms.) I can't give you any room number specifics but suggest you request a room in the middle of Building 1 on the 7th floor if you like skylights. If you don't, then request the 6th floor. If you get one out towards either end of the hallway you could end up with one with only 1 sink, so make sure to request a room closer to the middle of the building. I prefer having 2 sinks since the main sink is inside the bathrooms at Hojo. It makes it difficult to get ready if you have only 1 sink and it's inside the bathroom. They are given out in the order they are received, so if you have ressies now and put in your request, you are way ahead of the game.
I would strongly recommend looking into Fairfield Inn. It was great! Very clean, comfy beds, free wifi with a desk if you want it, close to all the restaurants in the immediate area, a Pizza Hut and Seattle's Best onsite and room service from Millies, and the best thing was it was only 5 minutes from the DL entrance. At the end of the night, it makes a huge difference. Here's my review. There are many other reviews for FFI and other hotels within that same thread so check it out if you are looking for options.

Thanks for info on FFI...will look at it! Also thanks to both of you for info on HoJo rooms.

I agree with the previous posters about getting a room closer to the elevator. We were in a room right next to the last room on the 6th floor building 1 - disney facing and I kept wondering what that noise was, until the power went out during our first night at the hotel. The air conditioner fan kept the noise out during the night, except when the power went out. (That was the time of intense rains - not sure what caused the outage) The noise was very evident and I didn't sleep well until the power came back on after a few hours. The clocks do have a battery back up which was nice, but I was so worried that we weren't going to wake up in time, that I got up and set my alarm on my phone. That was fun doing that in the dark, but it worked.

Another nice option is Candy Cane Inn. When we were a family of four it was our favorite place to stay. I just loved the flowers, breakfast, and linens. Now that we are a family of five, we do HOJO, but I miss the dedicated shuttle, breakfast, and feel of the Candy Cane.
