HOJO new et dates

Don't know if anyone noticed but HOJO added a bunch of new dates for May, June, July and Oct. yesterday.

Unfortunately they are not the two dates I am needing.

So excited the new dates for October fit perfectly into our travel plans. Now I need to find cheap airfare.

Add them to your Facebook and whenever they have any news or update the ET dates, it's posted there.

This is how I've found out and it's much easier then constantly checking their website. Since I'm on Facebook daily....

Thanks!!!!! 1 more of my nights was just added I'll be calling in a couple hours! So now I'll have 2 at full price and 2 at ET rate. Pretty good for the Kids Suite!

Call them directly at 714-776-6120 and ask for In House Reservations. They are only there M-F 9-5 Pacific time so make sure you call during this time frame.

A word of caution- don't call HoJo's main line but rather this # above which is the HoJo Anaheim's direct line. Otherwise you'll get a central reservation system and those folks have no idea about the ET rate.

When calling just tell them you have the ET book/card and make sure you know what dates are available for this rate when calling. I've had them try and tell me that the ET rate was not avail for this date but I knew it was cuz I saw the update of new date additions on my facebook! Seems like I was quicker then they were!

Switched 2 of our Oct dates to the better discount.
Waiting for them to open to switch to the better discount for 3 of our June dates That just leaves 2 of the nights at the regular discount in June.

Just managed to get one night of our 4 night stay in July. Hoping more might come up nearer the time but happy to get that one, it all helps!

As long as it is valid for the dates you are staying at the hotel, the card from any book is fine.
Ours was for Auckland, New Zealand.

So now I need to get a entertainment book. How do I get one? I'm in Canada, so I can't just pick one up. I heard you can tell them I have a book (don't really) and make sure I have one before checking in? Is this correct??

You can check with HOJO's. I heard a while ago (not sure exactly where I heard it), but if you have the local Entertainment book, and it has a coupon for Howard Johnsons, that they would honor the rate if you show them the coupon. I would check with HOJO's about this directly, as I'm not certain if this still applies. If you email them, or contact them directly and ask for in house reservations they can give you the info that you need.
