Sorry....I cannot figure out how to post the link to the HOJO website..but wanted to let everyone know that they just added lots of July and August dates! Yay...2 more days at Entertaiment Rate for us!! Crossing my fingers for the other 4

Ugh, I saw that yesterday right after paying my entire 3 night stay up front in order to get a discount at the FFI! Oh well, it only opened up for one of our nights, and the other two are already sold out, so I'm sure those wouldn't change anyway. I don't think switching hotels would be worth saving a few bucks, too hard with three little ones. Guess we'll have to try HoJo on our next trip, if they are still offering great ent rates.

Thank you so much for posting! They added 3 out of the 4 days we're looking at for September!

Question: Does HOJO require full or partial payment upon booking? How soon do you need to cancel to not be charged?

Now if only I could snag cheap airfare...

No payment at all.

Thanks Molly!

Now, I know I have to call to get the rate but do I have to book through just Lorealle?

You call their direct number and ask for in-house reservations. If they act like they don't know what you are talking about (with the entertainment rate), chances are you were transferred to the main reservations number. That has happened to me before, even when I asked for in-house reservations. The people I have talked to before at in-house are Jennifer, Jessica and Lorealle. :) They are only their during the week from 8 or 9 in the morning to about 5 at night. I noticed that if you are on hold for in-house, the recording indicates as such, mentioning in-house reservations. The recording is different when you get transferred to the main reservations center.

We are already booked at the Hojo in Sept and just noticed that our dates are entertainment dates. Can I just call and ask for our reservation be changed to the entertainment rate instead of what we are currently booked under? It would save us at least a hundred dollars on our trip if I could.

Yes, just contact in-house reservations, and they will be happy to change it to the ent. rate for you. :thumbsup2

I am still watching for our dates as well. We are going Aug. 18th-22nd and I have watched dates added after our dates and just before as well. Boo Hoo :sad1: I'm hoping they will still get added!

What are the entertainment rates? I have never heard of them. We are planning a trip and are thinking about staying at HOJO.

Thanks.

They're rates offered if you have a coupon from an Entertainment book, which you can buy on eBay. No need to buy the entire book just for the HOJO coupon!

Actually, it is the plastic "entertainment" membership card from the front of the book that is needed, not a coupon of any kind. And yes, if you don't want to buy the book for the coupons inside, you can just buy the card on Ebay. The rates are up to 50% off, so they are a great deal. They start at $59 for a standard room.

Oops! Yes, you are correct. Thanks for the clarification.

The books/cards expire on November 1 (according to the website) so make sure you have the book/card that is valid during your visit. I know we had to show our card when we checked in.

(i.e: if you are going before October 31, you need the 2009 book/card.
If you are going November 1 or after, you will need to get the 2010 book when it becomes available.)

I'm still patiently waiting for the March rates. I got really exited when they posted through Feb a few weeks ago, but they've not gone any farther yet.

They are open on Saturdays as well. I called yesterday and talked to Jennifer.

Yes! So did I! Figured I'd try Saturday morning & I was sure glad that I did. Jennifer was in at 9am-ish. lol Managed to get 3 of our 5 nights in September at the Ent Rate. :thumbsup2 I'll just keep watching for the other 2. :surfweb:
Counting the days..........:woohoo:
