HOJO Matercam - Gray "Fin" in Space Mountain View

anyone know what the gray "fin" is at the lower center of the image?

lol....it IS a spacey-looking thing and part of the Space Mountain aesthetics, but it's also there specifically to obscure the sight-line so guests won't see cast members walking on the roof.

I think it's the Space Mountain sign from the back.

the fin is located in the red circle. the HOJO camera is located towards the upper right. it's pretty far from guest areas.

I will have to try and remember to see if it can be seen from the plaza below.

Emergency exit? Looks like there are stairs coming down out of it. If so, it’s probably decorative instead of just a box with a door.
