Hojo fans, building 1 or 2?

If you were getting the entertainment book rate which would you take building 2 with a pool view or building 1 with the microwave, pillow top mattress and disney view? We need the 2 queen beds and are staying there in Oct.

I can't decide... please help

I actually like bldg 2 because of all you mentioned and because its really really quiet...the only downside to it is the fact that it is a farther walk and its not a big deal but at night it can be when your really tired...but as far as I know, if you get a preferred view room, you will be able to get all those amenities even in bldg. 1...

I had the building #'s mixed up it's building 1 with the microwave, pillow top mattress and disney view and building 2 with the pool view. I corrected the post.

I don't believe building 2 has pillow top mattresses or microwaves do they?

yes they do....bldg 1 has them in the preferred rooms only right now...on the other rooms they are doing 10 a month

if you go to the hojo website and put in dates for a reservation it comes up as

** NQQ1/Balc/NS/2 Queens/5 People Max/ Premium/Pillowtop Bed/Disney Facing/ Fridge/Microwave/Coffee-mkr/Internet

** NQQ2/NS/2 Queens/5 People Max/ Deluxe/Pool Facing/NO Disney View/ Fridge/Coffeemaker/Hairdryer/Internet

It says pillowtop for 1 which is NQQ1 but not for 2(NQQ2)

NQQ1 is the preferred rooms...which are the rooms facing DL

NQQ2 are the rooms facing the freeways and those are the rooms that dont all have the amenities in them....these are the rooms they are working on 10 per month

NQQ2:: Deluxe Room in Building Two facing our Garden Pool. All will eventually have the upgraded mattresses, but not the microwaves

NQQ1:: Premium Room in Building One facing Disneyland. All have upgraded mattresses, a microwave, a balcony and an in-room safe.

I like bldg 1. We have stayed in both, bldg 1 felt closer (not sure if it was) and the beds were so much nicer. The microwave is also a nice thing to have.

If you can do without the micro, I prefer Bldg. 2. They are quieter and cheaper!

Bldg 1 has an elevator, if that has any effect on your decision. When we went last week, they didn't have any handicapped rooms, and if it weren't for the elevators in Bldg 1, my dad would've been sleeping in the truck.

Bldg. 2 also has elevators. The 2-story courtyard bldgs (3-6) do not have elevators.

There are mini fridges in every room at the HoJo.
