Thank you for all your expert advise and oppinions they will be VERY helpful!
What is the difference between Standard and Deluxe rooms? It looks like most of you choose standard so is Deluxe not any better or what?
Do you call and make your requests or can you do it when you make the ressies on the computor?Do you usually GET ALL those requests?

I think what may be confusing is that most people recommend building 2, not necessarily standard or deluxe. That building has deluxe queens (2 queens) or standard ( 1 king) , if I'm correct. Building 2 is very popular because for the most part, it is very quiet and the deluxe rooms have a fridge and microwave in them. (Someone above mentioned that there was a microwave in their standard king room as well, so maybe they are in ALL rooms in building 2 ?) As far as selecting a standard or deluxe room in that building, it would depend on what bed configuration you might need. We love building 2 because of the location with the beautiful pool view and the microwave and fridge that we've had in the deluxe rooms.

Edited to add: You should make the special requests when you reserve the room. I would do the reservation over the phone with in-house reservations and request an e-mail confirmation. The first time I stayed there, I didn't make a specific request, only a double queen in building 2 (a deluxe room). We were placed on the top floor near the corner of the building nearest the freeway, and as I mentioned in my post above, I could hear the freeway noise and it was too noisy for us. On our last stay there, I requested a room away from the freeway side and on the 2nd or 3rd floor. We were placed on the 2nd floor in the middle of the building and for us, and the noise level was the difference between night and day! It was so quiet and we had a direct view of the beautiful pool because we were in the center of the building. I absolutely loved that location and would request it again.
